What is opcab?
In medicine advance surgeries may include a way to make heart surgery less invasive. A patient is avoided to place on a bypass machine and the coronary artery is bypassed.
In traditional bypass surgery, patients are placed on a heart machine.it reroutes the blood outside the body and oxygenates it .finally returns it to the body, so that the heart is not moving during surgery.
The doctor gains access to the heart with a sternotomy .he uses stabilizers to hold steady the artery which is to be bypassed. Thus the heart is repositioned and vascular repairs are made.
What are the advantages?
The risk of stroke is Reduced
Very Few complications associated with the lungs
Less need for blood transfusions
